Want to grab a coffee?
It is estimated that 1.4 billion cups are consumed every day around the world.

This week we are celebrating International Coffee Day, and we took the opportunity to talk about this wonderful world, with all of us in mind who wake up accompanied by this beautiful ritual.
What does coffee mean to you?
We got a little nostalgic to celebrate everything coffee does for us every day. I don't know about you, but for us, it's become a habit to start the morning with a good cup of coffee and a splash of milk—though that’s just a matter of preference.
Some like Americano, black, strong, and dark; others prefer it as a cortado, cappuccino, espresso, latte, or a good flat white. But a cup of coffee represents much more than just a drink: it can be the enjoyment of a slow morning and being present in the moment, the perfect companion for sitting down to read the book of the week, or enjoying the sunshine in the middle of nature.

It’s the perfect excuse to meet up with friends and catch up, or for that first date where you’re getting to know each other in a relaxed way, sharing a good taste for a cup of coffee. It is simply a celebration of one of the most well-known and consumed beverages worldwide, which has been a meeting point for people, ideas, and conversations.
And if we stop to think about everything we share while drinking coffee—the ideas we create, the deals we make, the stories we build, and the deep conversations those cups have heard—the flavors and aromas mixed within them have been witnesses to many experiences and faithful companions during long nights of waiting or active mornings.

How much do you know about coffee?
October 1st is the official date declared as the international celebration of this drink we love so much. It was established in 2015 in Milan with the goal of promoting and raising awareness about all the work that goes into the coffee process before it reaches your table.
Although it is a global date, it is not celebrated on the same day in every country. For example, Portugal celebrates it on April 14th, Costa Rica on the second Friday of September, Switzerland on September 28th, and September 29th in countries like Austria, Canada, Hungary, India, the USA, among many others.
We love the idea of being able to pay tribute on this day to everyone involved in the coffee industry: producers, harvesters, and workers, as it is the second most consumed beverage on the planet, after water.

Coffee is not just a drink; it is an art form, a cultural and economic experience with a global impact. It is composed of more than 800 aromas, making it even more complex than wine, as it features distinct flavors and scents with a wide variety of nuances.
Brazil is the largest coffee producer in the world; approximately one-third of global production comes from this country. Despite this fact, Brazilians are not the biggest consumers of this drink; that title goes to the Finns, whose average consumption is 12 cups a day, making Finland the country with the highest coffee consumption.
It is estimated that 1.4 billion cups are consumed every day around the world.
