A Pedro Castellanos house, 1942. Restored in a wabi-sabi key: warm terracotta tones, Oaxacan textiles, handmade cement tile floors and modern Mexican decor.
A Pedro Castellanos work, respectfully restored: original adobe walls on the ground floor and an intact floor plan.
Terracotta, lime plaster, Oaxacan textiles and handmade cement tile floors that celebrate imperfection.
Each room with its own light and character.
Walking distance to the galleries, specialty cafés and mezcal bars of Latin America's most celebrated neighborhood.
An original Pedro Castellanos house (1942), with adobe walls, on a single level. Before us, it had already been remodeled as a hotel, and the second floor remains from that period. When we bought it, we kept what mattered most: the central courtyard, much of the layout, some of the original floors, the entrance gate, the wooden laundry-room door and pieces of ironwork. In 2019 we restored it in a wabi-sabi key.

It was born in 1898 as Colonia Porfirio Díaz. It changed its name with the Revolution, slept for half a century and woke up again house by house. Today Time Out names it the coolest neighborhood in the world: 128 years stacked into French-style mansions, Art Deco and Mexican modernism.
By day: galleries, specialty coffee and chef-driven kitchens. As evening falls: a nightlife that never dims along Chapultepec and Américas.
A really lovely place, very comfortable and central, with very friendly staff. We loved the little touches like the breakfast and the treats in the minibars.
Tlalnepantla de Baz, Mexico
There were 11 of us for a wedding and it was the perfect place. The pictures don't do it justice: beautiful, spacious, and every room with its own bathroom. The cleaning, the daily breakfast and the nearby coffee shops sealed the deal. I'll definitely be back.
