A house from 1970. When it came to us, the garden was dry and the ironwork worn out. In 2019 we rescued the original floors, the marble fireplace and the terrazzo in the reception. Where an unused pool once sat, we built the terrace. The new ironwork was drawn in a seventies key, black geometry. The handmade cement tile floors were made floor by floor, each with its own palette.

A garden neighborhood with a roundabout, a Sunday street market, corner cafés and tree-lined avenues: the city's serene side.
Super comfortable and clean room. We loved the art throughout the house. A hammock in the courtyard to unwind was the cherry on top.

You have to stay here. The concept behind the house's renovation is simply incredible.
Cuernavaca, Mexico
My stay at Casa Ixaya was excellent. The place is very nice and has everything. The area is very quiet and pretty, and it's relatively close to Expo Guadalajara. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.
