The previous structure had reached its limit: damp, failing roofs, a cramped scale. In 2024 it was carefully demolished and six contemporary apartments were built on the same lot. It's the only house in Barrio México that wasn't restored: it was built from scratch. Which makes it the only contemporary one in the collection.

A working-class neighborhood from the 1930s, today one of the liveliest and most cheerful in Guadalajara. A market bustling from six in the morning, neighborhood taquerías, mezcal bars at night and wood-fired bakeries.
A different kind of stay in GDL. A charming neighborhood, Santa Tere, that still keeps its authentic local feel. The apartment is new and super comfortable for a relaxing stay. I recommend it.
