Discover the most special places to read in Guadalajara.
For all book lovers, it is impossible to imagine a life without books.

For all book lovers, we know it is impossible to imagine a life without books—without those moments that transport us to worlds of fiction, creativity, and emotion. Unknown universes where words come to life and stories take us far away from reality.
Do you remember the first time you opened a book and got hooked on a story you couldn't put down? The one that completely captivated you, wrapped you in its magic, and left a mark on your life. We certainly do, and that is exactly when our love for the art of reading was born. It will always be a pleasure to disconnect for a while as we explore stories created by someone else's imagination.

Did you know?
UNESCO declared April 23rd as World Book Day, as two of the greatest writers in history, Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare, passed away on this date. It is a special day to pay tribute to literature and to all those spaces that allow us to immerse ourselves in their stories.
And, of course, our city couldn't be left behind, being the birthplace of the International Book Fair, an event where reading is experienced in every corner, from its libraries to its cozy bookstores.

This library belongs to the University of Guadalajara and offers a space for students, researchers, and the general public to consult materials. It also organizes exhibitions, book presentations, and cultural conferences.
