Our first stop is Galería Curro, located in the Santa Tere neighborhood. Just a 15-minute walk—about 7 blocks from your starting point—this space is tucked away on a quiet corner.

This gallery is a key reference for contemporary art in the city, recognized for its bold curation and for promoting both emerging and established artists. It offers thought-provoking exhibitions and stands out for its visual and conceptual quality.

PLATAFORMA GDL.

From Galería Curro, it’s about a 10-minute walk—roughly five blocks—to reach our second stop: this beautiful gallery-museum that we love and enjoy every time we have the chance to visit.

Plataforma GDL is a multidisciplinary space that not only exhibits contemporary art but also seeks to be a meeting point for design, architecture, and critical thinking. It is an active space that promotes current art in Guadalajara.

Its programming includes exhibitions, workshops, and projects that foster dialogue between artists and the community.

PÁRAMO GALERÍA.

If you need a break from all that walking, the third stop couldn't be closer: it is just a 2-minute walk from Plataforma GDL, only one block away.

Páramo Galería is a key space in the contemporary art scene, presenting provocative and thought-provoking works by national and international artists. Its curation focuses on innovative proposals that engage with current issues from a critical and aesthetic perspective. It is an excellent place to explore the local art scene, offering a high-quality visual experience.

GALERÍA TIRO AL BLANCO.

To wrap up this artistic tour on a high note, our last—but certainly not least—stop is five blocks from Páramo, about a ten-minute walk away.

Galería Tiro al Blanco has established itself as one of the most forward-thinking galleries in the city, with selective curation focused on contemporary Latin American art. It is committed to exhibitions that challenge the formal and conceptual boundaries of art. Its clean, white space allows for the appreciation of large-scale works and installations with clarity, making every visit an immersive experience.

This route we’ve created for you will allow you to reconnect with the city from a new perspective: walking, observing, finding inspiration, and discovering everything our beautiful city has to offer. And what better way to do it than by staying at Barrio México, a new way to experience Guadalajara.

See you soon.
