Let's get pedaling.
Exploring Guadalajara by bike is one of the most exciting ways,

The weather is heating up in the city, and there's no better way to take advantage of this great time than by getting outdoors, exploring Guadalajara like a true local, and getting some exercise while you're at it.
If you ask us about our favorite hobbies—the ones we enjoy most, whether alone or with friends—the answer is always: cycling. It’s fantastic to pedal through the city's landmarks, save time on parking, and, most importantly, avoid the stress of traffic.
Of course, you have to be careful, follow all traffic signs, and, above all, make sure to stick to the city's bike lanes.

Exploring Guadalajara by bike is one of the most exciting, sustainable, and authentic ways to discover its streets, plazas, and history-filled corners. You can ride through the Historic Center or soak up the vibe in the Americana neighborhood.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through where, how, and what to consider when renting a bike so you can experience GDL at your own pace.
There are two highly recommended options for renting a bike.

The first, and easiest, is to rent one at Parque Metropolitano. Right at the main entrance, you'll find a booth with bikes for all ages.
Bring your ID, and for $70 pesos an hour, you can enjoy a bike ride. Keep the hours in mind so you can plan your route and return before closing time. We recommend bringing a lock in case you want to make a quick stop and need to secure your bike.

The second option is to rent one using the MiBici. We’ve put together a step by step guide to help you; you'll see it's very easy, and in just a few minutes, you'll be enjoying a ride through the city.
· Download the MiBici app and register by creating an account with your personal information. This app is available for both iOS and Android, or you can also do it directly on their website: www.mibici.net
· To create an account, you will need an email address and a credit card (this is very important) to make the payment.
· You have two payment options. Choose the one that best fits your needs and budget:
Daily pass: $104 pesos.
Annual pass: $504 pesos.
Both options allow you to take unlimited trips of up to 30 minutes. If you exceed that time, an additional fee will be charged.
· Locate the MiBici stations nearest to you or your planned route using the app or Google Maps. This will help you plan ahead for where you can swap bikes along the way.
The areas with the most coverage are: La Americana, Guadalajara City Center, Lafayette, Chapultepec, and Zapopan City Center.
· Once your registration is complete and payment has been made, go to the nearest station and scan the QR code from the app, or enter your user number and PIN to unlock your bike.
· And voilà! In a matter of minutes, you'll be ready to pedal and explore the city on MiBici.
· Once you finish your ride, look for the nearest station. Place the bike in an empty dock, make sure it’s securely locked by listening for a click, and you're all set. To be sure, you can check the app to confirm your trip has ended correctly.
